Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ToteDrop Joplin collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website, request information, make a reservation, complete a purchase, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services. This policy is written specifically for ToteDrop Joplin and our current website and booking process.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, information created during your booking, and limited technical information when you use our site.

This may include:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Delivery and pick-up addresses
  • ZIP code and service-location details
  • Reservation dates, package selection, add-ons, and notes
  • Transaction details and payment status information
  • Messages, emails, call notes, and support history
  • Basic device, browser, and website usage information

2. How We Collect Information

We collect information when you:

  • Submit a booking or contact form
  • Call, text, or email us
  • Complete checkout through Stripe
  • Use pages that load configuration, analytics, or functionality data
  • Provide addresses used for scheduling, service qualification, or mileage estimation

3. How We Use Information

We use information to run ToteDrop Joplin and fulfill reservations, including to:

  • Process orders and confirm reservations
  • Schedule deliveries and pick-ups
  • Estimate service eligibility, mileage, and route logistics
  • Send confirmations, reminders, receipts, and support responses
  • Maintain inventory, booking, accounting, and tax records
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, failed transactions, or unauthorized access
  • Improve website performance and customer experience
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and business obligations

4. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card number on our own website server. Instead, the payment method is stored by Stripe and may be retained there for authorized follow-up charges related to your reservation, including extra rental days, damaged totes, missing totes, or other charges permitted under our Terms & Conditions. Stripe may provide us with limited information such as payment status, totals, taxes collected, customer name, and identifying transaction details so we can match payment to a reservation and maintain financial records.

5. Communications

When you complete a booking, we collect your phone number and email address and may contact you about your reservation, delivery timing, pick-up coordination, support requests, schedule changes, payment issues, or other service-related matters. These communications are primarily transactional. If we send marketing messages in the future, we will handle opt-out rights as required.

6. Service Providers and Sharing

We may share information with service providers only as reasonably needed to run the business and provide our services. Depending on the function involved, this may include:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Supabase for business data storage and internal records
  • Resend or similar email tools for transactional messages
  • Google services used for business communication or internal operations
  • Mapping, geocoding, or routing providers used for address lookup and mileage estimation
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers used to operate the website
  • Professional advisors or authorities when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Address and Delivery Data

Because ToteDrop Joplin is a local tote delivery and pick-up service, address information is necessary to provide our service. We may use addresses to determine service area coverage, estimate route distance, calculate internal mileage-related costs, coordinate scheduling, and maintain booking records. Address information may be sent to third-party routing or geocoding tools when needed for those purposes.

8. Cookies, Browser Storage, and Analytics

Our website may use standard logs, limited browser storage, and analytics-style tools to support functionality, remember basic session state, measure performance, and diagnose issues. Restricted internal pages may also use local browser storage for session persistence on that device. This information is generally used for operations, performance, and security rather than for building or selling advertising profiles.

9. Data Retention

We retain information as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain records, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal, tax, insurance, or accounting obligations. Different categories of information may be kept for different periods depending on business need and legal requirements.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, or loss. No website, database, email system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, so absolute security cannot be promised.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults arranging residential or commercial moving-supply rentals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will review the situation.

12. Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to update inaccurate contact information, ask questions about how information is used, or request deletion where appropriate. We may still retain information where necessary for completed transactions, fraud prevention, tax reporting, charge disputes, legal compliance, or legitimate business recordkeeping.

13. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party services or websites, including payment tools and social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of those third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies govern your interactions with them.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time as our website, vendors, services, or legal obligations change. When we update the policy, we will change the Last Updated date at the top of this page.
