What size are the totes?
Our heavy duty totes measure 27" x 17" x 12". This is the industry standard "perfect size" for movers, large enough to fit plenty of household items, but compact enough when loaded so they remain easy to carry and stack. They are commercial grade, active duty plastic boxes built to withstand stack weight and protect your belongings much better than cardboard or typical residential grade totes, like the ones you buy at Home Depot.
Do you move my belongings?
ToteDrop provides reusable moving tote rentals. We do not move customers' belongings. ToteDrop handles tote delivery and pickup from start to finish, and customers are responsible for packing, transporting, and unpacking their belongings.
What areas do you serve?
ToteDrop provides reusable moving tote rentals throughout Joplin, Webb City, Carl Junction, Carthage, and surrounding Southwest Missouri communities within our current service area. You can view our full delivery coverage on our Service Area page.
How does pricing work?
Residential rentals include a 14-day rental period, and commercial rentals include a 21-day rental period. Delivery and pickup are included in every order. Flexible daily extensions are available when additional time is needed, so you only pay for the extra time you use.
What package options do you offer?
We offer six residential kits and four commercial kits. Residential options are Starter (10 totes), Apartment (20), Essentials (30), Standard (40), Family (55), and Full Home (70). Commercial options are Business Starter (20), Business Standard (40), Business Plus (55), and Business Bulk (70), each with a longer included rental term.
How do I choose the right package?
A good starting point is to match your kit to your move size. 10 totes commonly work well for small packing projects, decluttering, or limited-room packing. 20 totes are often suitable for a dorm, studio, or small apartment move. 30 totes are a good starting point for a one-bedroom move or partial household move. 40 totes commonly work well for most two-bedroom moves. 55 totes are often suitable for most three-bedroom moves, and 70 totes are recommended as a starting point for large three- to four-bedroom moves.
Can I add extra totes or rolling tote dollies?
Yes. You can add extra heavy-duty totes and rolling tote dollies during checkout to customize your order for your move, office transition, or overflow needs.
When do deliveries and pickups happen?
Most deliveries and pickups happen between 5 PM and 9 PM. We will contact you by text or phone to confirm the final timing window for your service day.
Do I need to be there for delivery and pickup?
Yes. A signature is required at both delivery and pickup, so someone authorized needs to be available during the scheduled service window.
Do I need to clean the totes?
Please return the totes empty and remove any obvious debris. ToteDrop handles the full cleaning and sanitizing between rentals.
What happens if I lose or break a tote?
Our totes are commercial grade and built for normal moving use. If one goes missing or is returned with significant damage, replacement charges may apply as outlined in our Terms & Conditions. Rolling tote dollies are also subject to replacement charges if they are lost or damaged.
Can I get more totes?
Yes. For an additional fee, we can add extra totes and help get you to the right count for your move.
